Day 8-

 Tuesday, May 16th-

Today I put into action the fact that I need to speed up the process a bit in order for me to finish on time with my absent days coming up. In order to accomplish that, I worked about 11 hours... writing that is odd to me, but yup, I watched six Peaky Blinders episodes and listened through an entire five-hour playlist. At one point today I lay down on the floor and it was the most euphoric feeling I had felt in days.

I spent the majority of today working on the shirt, I still have another hour or so of work on it before I can say it's done. Then from there, I moved on to the hair, it's pretty obvious that I stated in the bottom right corner, but hopefully, by the end it'll all look as detailed and later even better. I also hope that I will be able to mask the fact that the shirt looks so much better than the rest of it, as briefly mentioned before, drawing clothing is something oddly natural to me.

So along with finishing up the hair mostly and the shirt to a lesser extent, I am nearly done with Logan themself. The final and maybe misjudged step will be the background of the image, and currently, I am suspecting that I will have to make it even simpler than it already is in order to finish on time!

In conclusion, there is still a fair amount of work to be done but after today I am hopeful and excited for tomorrow's progress. Also here is a photo of my beautiful bambina, who is watching my parents pack up without her.

11 hours today (rounding down don't worry!), mostly in compensation for the days I will be absent in the future.

  1. The depth and authenticity of the textures you are achieving is remarkable. It is impressive that you find clothing "natural" to you. What gifted precision. Again, this is a joy experience and to see unfold. Having the right ambiance seems helpful. Breath and embrace your efforts, Nora!
